"Bryce Canyon Sunrise" First light over Bryce Canyon shot during winter. A very small aperture was used to capture the sun rays of the rising sun.

"Foggy Sunrise Palouse" Both Zack Schnepf and I were leading workshops in the Palouse last spring, and we had the extreme pleasure of watching this fog roll in. Shortly after this shot, the entire Palouse was shrouded in fog. Quite a site to witness, and I'm pretty sure that was a once in a lifetime experience.
"Winter Morning, Palouse" I shot this image at sunrise while snow shoeing up on Steptoe Butte in the Palouse region of Washington State, just after a heavy snow storm. Definitely one of the most spectacular sunrises I have witnessed.
